Multi-disciplinary expertise.
Sports & Events brings together professionals boasting a wide range of profiles (PMC – programmers, architects, engineers) and experience (consultants, designers, event operators/organisers).
In addition to its own resources, Sports & Events regularly draws on expertise from other specialities and domains in the Egis group: Building (building engineering, quantity surveying, scheduling), Elioth (engineering firm specialising in complex structures and facades), 10 Design (architecture), Voltere (consulting in upstream consulting in the tourism and leisure industries), etc.
When certain specific issues in your project require niche expertise that extends beyond the tradition field of competency of the Egis group, we call on our ecosystem of partners to meet your needs optimally and fully.
Projects of varying nature and scale.
The projects on which we work vary in their nature and scale:
- Venues of regional, national or international importance. For instance, we took part in the overhaul of the Stade Vélodrome to enable its resident club, Olympique de Marseille, to host the largest European football competitions.
- New-build and refurbishment projects, such as our contribution to the rejuvenation of the famous Longchamp racecourse, in the southwest of the Bois de Boulogne (Paris, France) in the aim of improving the public’s visiting conditions and experience.
- Projects confined to just the facility in question or, on the contrary, extended to its wider environment (neighbourhood or city). With the architects at 10 Design, for example, we are working on the design of a 20,000 seater stadium in the southern part of downtown Raleigh North Carolina (USA). This asset is part of a project whose ambition is to revitalise the southern part of the city by building new infrastructure.
- Temporary facilities.
- Events (site design), such as the case of the Allianz Riviera in view of the Euro 2016 football championship.
